If you have never heard of the John Deere Equipment company then you have probably been living somewhere under a rock all your life. All joking aside, the John Deere Corporation has been providing quality industrial and faming equipment since 1837 when John Deere himself started selling a steel plow that revolutionized how farmers cut furrows through difficult types of soil in the Midwest part of the United States of America.
In the early part of the middle of the 19th century, the blacksmith known as John Deere grew into a thriving manufacturer and retailer who eventually grew to a point where he was selling farming technology all across the Americas. In 1846, his work force of sixteen hardworking Americas sold over two thousand plows to farmers who could not get enough of his long lasting plows that made their lives easier and their farms more productive.
In 1850 John Deere started a company called Deere, Tate & Gould and never looked back. Year after year their company created and retailed ever increasingly sophisticated farming and industrial equipment which drove the rapid rate of expansion experienced by every state in America during that century.
By 1900, the Deere Corporation was exceeding two million dollars in receipts per year. This enormous financial windfall could not have occurred without the exceptional drive of the family owned corporation to produce the best possible products for its customers.
By 2004, a nearly one hundred and seventy year long journey that started with one man making one plow in his forge in the early nineteenth century, Deere & Company was recording earnings of over a billion dollars.
In 2007, John Deere became one of the 100 most ethical companies according to the Ethisphere magazine. This all means something significant to the consumer in the world today. It simply means that John Deere is still one of the most trusted businesses that manufacture agricultural and industrial technology. If you are in the market for new or used excavators, you cannot go wrong by choosing John Deer equipment.
